"Friends are persons you can lean on not those who are stabbing you at the back"

In life, you really encounter things such as meeting your best friend and worst enemy. There are times you thought that person is a friend but actually the opposite. In a person's life you rarely find those TRUE friend of yours. Well, fortunately I have lot of friends in this miserable world. Despite the my status in society, they are still there for me, as a reaching hand.

How do you define friend in life, in real world not in an idealistic way? Maybe you still see it in a positive perspective. Thank God if you have many friends but i tell you not all are TRUE, not all are GOOD to you.

In my 14 years of existence in this world, I met so many friends, some I consider BROTHERS. but there is this three friends of mine who made a great difference. They are my bestfriends, Michael Vincent "Mico" Manalac, Jason Peter Makasiar and Angelo "Anjo" Enriquez. The people I lean on when I feel down, they never disappoint me nor put me down.

Mico? Who is he?Firstly, he is a "holy" person for the eyes of the people but he is this serious type of person yet kalog sometimes. He is about 5'4" tall and with fair skin complexion, he is good in mathematics, he is a Magis and a Special Science Class Student,he is a SOCMAT, he is a former representative of our year level, he is my partner in the Soccer team, he is a debater, he is also a server(SFC), he is good in Sepak Takraw and he is a Young Atenean Science Society member. From the proverb, "You are rich or poor for what you are but not what you have" implies to him he is GOOD person and he also have many indulgements. This friend of mine is HOLY in short. hahaha

Jason? Who is he? He is this tall, dark and handsome type daw? he is also a server(SFC), he is also a Tourism member, culinary, he is very good in Gunbound and DOTA as well. He is this kind of person who look so boastful in first meeting, yet if you know him as he is, he is GOOD. He is the reason why I always get a perfect mark in Summary Sheets and other research activities because he is the one allowing me to encode and print the research to be able to pass on time. This friend of mine is the type of person who is not that good in managing his time for what he is to do, but still performs well. I thank him for being my friend, not only because I encode and print in their house but he is really there to help me everytime I am down. Thanks Doy...

Anjo? Ahh no much thing to tell about him, jut that he is tall white and Smart? hehe but he really is smart. Anjo is a member of some club we are involved. He is my regular companion in times we are left by Jason, evertime we hang-out. He is the only person in our group who has a girlfriend but all of us already had. Anjo is a silent type person, oftenly doubted gay because he is so silent. He is the kind of person who is like a parasite to anyone. (joke lang jo!) He is Good and he is the one you can lean on and ask for help. And he is actually willing to help as long as he can.
These are my friends, TRUE FRIENDS of mine! Indespensable of any material things. FRIENDS ARE THOSE YOU CAN LEAN ON, REMEMBER THAT!

"Gold tested in fire"

Gold that is tested in fire is melted but it stays as it is, Gold. We, as a family is the Gold tested in so much trials in life. The trials were not that easy to overcome. Yet after the trial we are still TOGETHER. The person's house who is built on top of the stone is actually the Strong Family that doesn't just actually bend through trials. Thus, those family built on the sand is the weak one, because after the sandstorm in a desert, the house is gone. Make God as your driver in your journey in Life. And I do beleive that prayer is the best way to call God.

"Laughter is not a good way of hiding your sorrows"

A person who doesn't see her mistakes is actually pro jecting it with others. In my life in this
world I am experiencing hardships and this is the ones I consider 'storms'. These storms are the ones who made me strong and it is the one responsible for making me brave enough to face the trials in life that came and will be coming. I am a optimistic person, even worst is infront of me, I still try to overcome it. I am strong for my family and I promised myself to actually overcome all of it. Oh well, I'll introduce myself first.


By the way I am Adriel Earl A. Toribio, I first saw light on August 25, 1992. I was born in Brent Hospital Zamboanga City. I am studying in Ateneo de Zamboanga University. I am a Soccer player. But, I left Soccer for this school year because I am stressed out in school activities. I am a Server of the First Companion member, in this club I knew God better and become closer to him. I am also a Representative in our year level(second year). I don't know what's wrong with me but I like serving. I am a Joker to everyone, and I love to see my friends smiling or laughing. Maybe I am not a 'holy' person but I have holy fear in him. I chose God to drive my life till the end.

I am good in verbal activities rather than written ones. I am indulge in Debate Club and I can say I can talk well.(hahaha) I love making cartoons or charicatures of people, but not in a offensive way or presentation. I love to hang-out with friends specially in watching movies and all, specially window shopping.

I always make it a point to help my family and be able to study well. I don't want my parents to actually sacrifice for me. I hope I'll continue the privilege the Ateneo has given me. Why do I like to study well? Primarily because I want to help my siblings in school's neccesities(i.e. tuition, miscellanous and all), right after I graduate. I don't want my parents to work for my siblings anymore if I know I can actually manage. That is ME, priority is FAMILY but centerpiece of life is GOD.
